The Ultimate Rum Punch Recipe

Before we dive into the actual Rum Punch recipe, let's talk briefly about the ingredients. For an authentic Jamaican Rum Punch, you'll naturally need high-quality Jamaican rum. I recommend the manufacturers Appleton and/or Wray & Nephew – strong, aromatic, and just right for this cocktail.

Ingredients (*Cup = 250 ml volume)
1 cup pineapple chunks (frozen or fresh)
1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup orange juice
1 cup mango juice
1/4 cup lime juice
1/2 cup Overproof Rum, e.g.:  Wray&Nephew Overproof Rum
1/2 cup Dark Rum, e.g. Kingston 62
1/4-1/2 cup coconut rum, e.g.:  Coco Mania
1/4 cup Grenadine syrup
Fresh lemons, oranges, limes
Ice cubes
5 allspice berries and a little nutmeg (optional) Allspice can be found here

Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a large container (e.g., a punch bowl). Stir and chill until serving.

Tips for the best Rum Punch
Decorate the glasses with a sugar rim, sliced orange or lime wedges. A cherry as a garnish is also nice. For this, you would need glacé cherries, which you can find with baking ingredients.

Vary the amount of alcohol by increasing or decreasing the cup measurement for the rum punch. If you want more coconut flavor, use more coconut rum, e.g., Coco Mania from Jamaica. You can also use other coconut-flavored rum or omit it entirely.

For more spiciness, add a few allspice berries and a little nutmeg to the Rum Punch and let it steep nicely.
