Festival Dough Mix – Jamaican Fried Dough Pieces
Jamaican Festival Dumplings – sweet, fluffy, easy, quick, and foolproof. With Grace Festival batter mix, you can easily bring this popular Jamaican street food home. Just add water, shape, fry – and your golden-brown, sweet festival dumplings are ready, absolutely foolproof and easy.
Festivals are sweet, deep-fried pieces of dough that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside – perfect as a side dish or snack.
Application
Mix Grace Festival Mix with 135 ml of water and knead lightly.
Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
Divide the dough into equal pieces on a floured work surface.
Shape the pieces of dough into an oblong form and flatten them slightly to achieve the traditional shape.
Fry the pieces in a pan or pot with about 1 cm of oil until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper. One bag yields approximately 26 festivals.
Jerk chicken goes well with this.
