Spanish Town Johnny Cake Mix 500g - Mix for Jamaican Fried Breakfast Pastry

Ingredients: Flour, sugar, salt, E450, E500, corn starch

May contain traces of soy, milk and egg.

Preparation: Mix 100g of dough mix with 80ml of water. Knead the dough with your hands (or in a food processor) until smooth. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes. Form the dough into evenly sized balls and flatten them slightly. Fry them in hot oil (approx. 1 cm deep) until golden brown. Preparation in a deep fryer (not an air fryer) is also possible.
