What is Jerk?
Jerk is a distinctive Jamaican cooking tradition in which primarily poultry or pork is marinated in a richly spiced marinade and then cooked over an open fire or in a smoker. Application
How to make your own jerk marinade
For 500g of meat, add 1-2 tsp of Tropical Sun Jerk Seasoning and a drizzle of olive oil. For even more flavor, you can further enhance the meat with your favorite all-purpose seasoning, dry jerk seasoning, and a touch of green seasoning. Simply mix equal parts with olive oil, massage into the meat, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes (ideally overnight) – then fire up the grill, turn on the music, and enjoy a taste of the Caribbean! Also perfect for tofu or vegetables.
