Lemon Jerk Potatoes - Fried potatoes with a Caribbean twist

Craving a simple yet exciting fried potato recipe? This version brings a touch of Jamaica to your plate – even if it's not entirely traditional. Our Lemon Jerk spice mix gives this German classic an exotic and spicy twist. Perfect as a side dish to jerk chicken or simply on its own with a dollop of dip – quick to make and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients
1 kg small potatoes with skin
1/2 bunch of spring onions, cut into fine rings
1/4 bunch of parsley
1 sprig of rosemary
olive oil
1 lemon

preparation
Wash the potatoes, boil them until tender, and let them cool. Wash the parsley and chop it finely. Squeeze the lemon and grate some of the zest. Trim the spring onions and slice them into thin rings. Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise. Season with lemon jerk seasoning and pepper. Heat some oil in a pan. Add the cooled, dried potatoes and fry until crispy. Add the spring onions, rosemary, and a little lemon juice and zest.

Finally, sprinkle the parsley over the potatoes and top with feta cheese or sour cream to taste. Jerk chicken goes well with this.
