Lemon Jerk Prawns – Fresh jerky enjoyment from the grill

If you think jerk is just jerk chicken – then it's time for a summery upgrade! Our Lemon Jerk Prawns are the perfect combination of Caribbean spices, fresh lemon, and succulent prawns. Slightly spicy, incredibly aromatic, and perfect for grilling – this is the taste of Jamaica for your summer!
And the best part? You only need a few ingredients and you're ready in minutes.

Ingredients for 2 servings of Lemon Jerk Prawns

8 large prawns (or shrimp), ready to cook
1 tsp Dunn's River Lemon Jerk Seasoning
1 tsp Grace Jerk Seasoning Hot & Spicy
1 tsp Walkerswood Green Seasoning
Juice of half a lemon
1 tbsp olive oil
Fresh parsley (chopped)

preparation

Briefly rinse the shrimp and pat dry.
Mix all the spices – the jerk seasoning mix, the jerk rub and the green seasoning – with lemon juice and olive oil to make a marinade.
Marinate the shrimp in it and let them soak for at least 10 minutes (the longer, the more intense!).
Skewer the shrimp and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side – they should be lightly browned and juicy inside.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
