Ingredients
200 g Enoki mushrooms (slightly trim the root)
Enough oil for deep-frying
For the breading:
100 g flour
50 g cornstarch
pinch of salt
Some cold sparkling water
Approximately 1 tablespoon each of spice mixes to taste:
Chicken Seasoning
All Purpose Seasoning
Paprika powder
Jerk Seasoning

preparation
Mix the spices with the flour and cornstarch. Add enough water to create a slightly runny batter. Trim the roots of the enoki mushrooms slightly. Slice the mushrooms horizontally several times through the root. Dip each piece of enoki mushroom in the batter and immediately deep-fry until golden brown. Drain the enoki mushrooms on paper towels after frying.
